We stayed there 3 days and enjoyed it very much. Very nice rooms, green garden and a heated pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And a perfect breakfast every day. Very recommendable

Giardino guesthouse has a clinical clean look and feel to it with walking distance to the city center. We had a lovely stay but wouldn't rate it as a boutique guesthouse. One would expect some amenities like facial tissues, shower cap, hairdryer etc. and all other small amenities ea. more hangers (only 2) which goes with a boutique title. We also found it quite pricy for what we got and compared to other boutique quest houses in Swakopmund. We found a personal touch in the rooms is missing although very clean. Unfortunately we had to keep asking for extra milk, coffee and toilet paper which one would expect from housekeeping to continue checking on these items. There were also only one plug in the room at the coffee station which we had to make turns to charge our electronics. No aircon but a portable fan to warm up the room. The staff however, were very friendly and helpful when asked and we got a sparkling wine as a gift for my husband's birthday which we appreciate.

We spent 3 nights at this hotel in August. The rooms were clean ans spacious, breakfast was very good, with a choice of eggs and pancakes. The great plus of this hotel for us was the heated pool which my kids enjoyed a lot. Only downside is the distance from city center.

Loved this little hotel. Staff and management were so dedicated, helpful and friendly. There is a heated pool in a beautiful garden setting. A lovely, sunny lounge to relax in with refreshments and service, and fabulous breakfasts. The bedroom was spacious and clean, with everything we needed. We could walk to the famous Altstadt Restaurant and Beergarden, and to the seafront.

We had the most wonderful stay at Giardino Boutique Hotel. Philip welcomed us with a big smile, was super attentive, and was so incredibly hospitable. We are here on our honeymoon and he asked us about our wedding and told us about his life and sweet girlfriend. The hotel was very clean and cozy, and their homemade breakfasts are something you can not miss. 5 stars all around.

you can see through the 'frosted' glass of the bathroom that is directly on the hallway. this is a privacy issue. after refusing to stay there, the hotel refused to give me a full refund and then had the audacity to make me pay the commission they pay to ***********. the manager had contacted me directly and was rude and abrupt and was more concerned about me leaving a poor review than offering his assistance and good customer service. *********** have attempted to be in touch with the hotel to get me the agreed refund however almost 4 weeks later and they are still ignoring. i have attached a photo below of what you can see from the hallway into the bathroom. note they didn't have curtains or blinds so you have no way of hiding this. also no body wash and no welcome drink was provided. hostel vibes charging 4 star prices.

The rooms were wonderful and comfy. The staff was attentive and helpful. We were given good recommendations on activities. Two minor downsides: it was a bit of walk to the downtown (we needed the exercise) and there are no doors on the bathrooms. That said, we'd be happy to stay here again.

Tip- don’t go! Condescending staff. Save your money, you’d be better off staying at a hostel or in a tent. Not worth it and they massively overprice themselves. Nothing boutique about it unfortunately.

Excellent service, very good breakfast, nice garden with heated pool in a safe and quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay even so the hotel is a little far from the city center. We took a cab, that wasn’t a problem. Hotel and rooms stylishly furnished, bathroom small, without door. Staff and owner very friendly!
